About King Country Driver Training

Colin Manion has been involved in the King Country Transport scene since 1979 when he and his wife Beryl commenced a contract with the Taumarunui Milk Co op, an association that continued until the company closed its doors in 2005.

Colin and Beryl still operate a truck on contract to New Zealand Post and are doing a Line Haul run taking away and bring back mail and courier freight from Taumarunui, Te Kuiti, Otorohanga, Te Awamutu and Hamilton.

Colin identified a need for a qualified Licence Assessor that couple provide a total locally based service catering to people in the Central King Country region wishing to obtain vehicle licenses and other related courses.

As a fully qualified Land Transport Assessor and a fully qualified Driving Instructor, Colin can provide courses for people wishing to gain their Class 2, 3, 4, 5 Licences as well as Licence Endoresements for Wheels, Tracks and Rollers, Passenger Service, Vehicle Recovery and Dangerous Goods.
